Kelvin is a physiotherapist after having graduated from the University of Queensland in Australia with a Masters of Physiotherapy Studies. Kelvin spent several years in a musculoskeletal clinic in Australia, treating various sport and work injuries, as well as managing rehabilitation post-operatively and following a motor vehicle accident.

Before becoming a physiotherapist, Kelvin received an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences as well as a certificate for Fitness Assessment and Exercise Counselling from York University in Canada. As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Kelvin has worked with a wide variety of people including those with chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension as well as firefighters and the top ice hockey prospects in the world at the NHL combine.

Kelvin has worked with numerous sports teams including rugby, basketball, soccer, volleyball and cricket. Some noteworthy teams that he has worked with include FC Barcelona Academy Australia and team Canada’s U23 women’s basketball team at the 2022 Global Jam. This has given Kelvin experience in the acute management of injuries. Despite this sporting background, Kelvin equally enjoys working with patients with chronic conditions such as neck pain and low back pain.

Kelvin’s academic background and training have provided him with an excellent understanding of the human body and its movement. Further advanced training in anatomical acupuncture has led to Kelvin incorporating this into his holistic approach of utilizing hands on skills along with exercise programs for the management of various conditions.

Outside of work, Kelvin enjoys an active lifestyle while playing basketball and lifting weights at the gym.
